21 Jack wasn't the sort of guy who got very fussed about architecture, but even he had to admit that the Ladarian Centre was kind of cool. The building was essentially two concentric cylinders about three stories high. The inner cylinder was a large auditorium where speakers stood on a stage in the centre of the room. The outer one was a concourse that formed a ring around the auditorium. Bridges on the second level extended from the inner cylinder to a walkway along the outer wall, each one leading to a platform where one could watch the stage from above. There were twenty-four of them like spokes on a wheel. One for each hour of the day, or so he had been told. He was on one of them now.
