Ava's POV Being in the same home as Victor was one thing. Being trapped here in the same room with him? That was something else entirely. My senses were already on edge. His presence filled the room in a way no ordinary wolf ever could. Victor, of course, looked completely composed, calm and controlled as always. “Grandma just got out of the hospital,” he said evenly. “I don’t want to upset her.” I let out a soft, dry laugh. “How sweet.
