Jake dropped me off at the hotel, but instead of going to my room, I walked straight through the lobby to the conservatory, wanting to breathe in the sweet smell of the flowers. There was something about nature that always calmed me down, especially the ocean, which was why I was studying Marine Biology. However, in the back of my mind I had another passion … fighting.
Would I be able to do both? Ashleigh was going to work at both of her career choices; working a job in Marine Biology, and the other at her family’s hotel in Aspen. Surely I could do it, too, right?
