CHAPTER 1
ANGELA
Bismarck knew that look.
The woman who had just stepped out of the black SUV was staring at him in shock. Long braids, skin glowing, a figure that made the whole compound go quiet.
Inside this house, she was Angela — fiancée to James Odogwu, the billionaire who had just hired Bismarck.
Outside this house, they called her Her Sexcellency — a name James wasn't aware of and shouldn't be.
Wedding: October 21. Everything already planned.
"This is Bismarck. Mr. James' new personal assistant," Donald said proudly. "Bismarck, this is Angela—"
"Stop."
Her voice cut through the air. Sharp.
Donald frowned.
"Angela?"
Her eyes never left Bismarck. For a second, her perfect composure slipped.
Bismarck didn't move either.
He couldn't. Because the last time he had seen Angela, she was not a billionaire's fiancée — or so he thought.
"Give us a moment," Angela said, still staring at Bismarck. "Alone."
Donald hesitated. "Alone?"
"Yes. Now."
Donald left.
The door closed.
Angela stood. She crossed the expensive sitting room, hips moving with deliberate confidence, until she was inches from him. The room had smelled like money — now it smelled like her perfume.
She leaned in and whispered,
"You need to quit this job even before you start it.".
