It took my breath away, the sight of the ballroom. Crystal chandeliers hung from the vaulted ceiling like cascading stars, their light reflecting off the polished marble floors in an amazing dazzling display. The massive space was filled with pack members dressed in their finest – a swirling sea of silk, velvet, and jewels that seemed to shimmer with every movement. The place was at least ten times the size of the ballroom back at Black Mountain pack yet somehow, it was packed full. But it was the decorations that truly captured the essence of the North. Ice sculptures dotted the room, catching and refracting light in mesmerizing patterns.
