Aric walked us into our room and sat down on the couch, continuing to hold me in his arms. I snuggled into him and let his scent calm me. I really don’t know what I’d do without him.
He gave me a soft kiss on my forehead, “what do you want to do for the rest of the day?” he asked softly.
I sighed not wanting to do anything, “can we just stay in the room?” I asked.
“Of course, baby, whatever you want. How about you find us a movie to watch and I’ll go down and get us some lunch?” he suggested.
“That sound’s perfect, thank you,” I said giving him a small smile.
He set me down on the couch before making his way out of the room, leaving me with my thoughts. I needed to figure out a way to save my parents, but I also needed to keep from going down a rabbit hole. I couldn’t get so
