I loaded our bags into the car while I waited for Ronnie to come down. I could tell that she was a bit weary after my call with Rose and I hope she wasn’t getting an idea of what I had planned, I really want her to be surprised.
I walked back inside to see the trio of ladies walking down the stairs. Nina and Sage gave me nervous smiles before I turned to see Ronnie giving me a nervous smile of her own. I met her at the bottom of the stairs and wrapped my arms around her waist as she wrapped hers up around my neck.
“Everything alright?” I asked nervously.
“Yup,” she said giving me a small peck, “ready to go?”
I nodded and laced my fingers with hers, walking us out to the car.
The drive to the Crescent Moon territory was quick and quiet. I was cuddled up with Ronnie in the backs
