I set Ronnie down outside the dining room and watched patiently as she pulled her dress back into place, she looked so beautiful doing the simplest things. Once she was properly adjusted I laced my fingers with hers and pulled her into the room to our waiting team.
“We were starting to think you two weren’t going to show,” Demetri teased.
“If it were up to me, we wouldn’t have,” Ronnie pouted playfully.
I laughed as the guys raised their eyebrows at me. Denying your mate wasn’t an easy thing to do, but I had plans that required us to be down here.
I scooted close to her as we took our seats at the table, “you don’t want to miss out on dessert, do you?” I asked pulling her hand up to my lips.
