“Walker said you were trying to get these old things up and running again.” Meriwa looked up from her planter and met with the sight of a wheat-haired female. She was smiling down at her from the doorway, icy blue eyes dancing merrily. There was something familiar about her. Her features were small and delicate, save for a strong, straight nose that lent her face a regal cast. Mouth small and pale pink, the cupid’s bow on the top lip was perfectly defined, beautifully curved. However, it was her smile itself that made her glow. There was mirth in the light way she held herself, and in the easy, graceful movement of her body. She rocked in the doorway, as though she couldn’t quite contain all the energy she had.
