Sleep wouldn’t come. Not easily, nor with great difficulty. It just wasn’t f*****g happening for him, eh? No way, no how. No visit from the sandman for him. No dreams to whisk him away from the nightmare that was this day. This damned endless day. Walker sighed, thinking about how tragic it was that the last quality sleep he’d gotten was when he’d been stuffed to the brim with sand and moonshine.
