Meriwa was sitting on the cold concrete floor, her head resting between two of the cell’s iron cast bars. It wasn’t the most comfortable spot, but she found that she didn’t much care. Where she was, she was perfectly situated to overhear what Willow and Walker were talking about. It had to be somewhat important if they’d felt the need to do it out of sight.
