The knock on Liam's door woke him up. He stretched and sat up, yawning and looking tired. His eyes were still sleepy as he fixed them on the door.
"Who is it?" he asked.
"Justine, sir. Have a message for you."
"From who?" Liam asked.
"From your mother. She said to tell you that it is time, and you are to meet her in the court."
What was he hearing? Slowly and reluctantly, he got off the bed and made his way to the door. He turned the door handle and opened it wide enough that only his head could pass through.
