Emily was left in the hall with Liam. The air was filled with silence. Emily glanced at Liam and gave him a fierce look that shot daggers. Even though they felt very uncomfortable to be in each other's presence, they stayed behind. Instead, they pretended to be looking at the sketches made by the designers and giving their judgments exclusively in their minds.
Suddenly, Emily was the one who broke the silence. "I heard what you said about me, Liam." She said this without looking at his face, in his direction.
