Cherry was closed for the day when she found out she had a few calls from Jamie. Her heart tightened at the sight of his name on her phone screen.
The last time they had been together had ended so awkwardly. Jamie tried to lighten up the mood by making conversation and she later claimed to be very sleepy and she went to bed.
