It had been three days after the family dinner incident and Cherry was doing everything in her power to avoid Jamie and since Jamie was overwhelmed with work following a new project he was working on, they had little time for each other.
After she had insisted on leaving, Jamie had made sure one of his family's drivers dropped her off at her apartment when she had blatantly refused that he take her home.
A small part of her had hoped that he would come over later in the night to say hi, but he didn't and it only made Cherry even more angry. She had waited for a while thinking and hoping he would come over but he never did. She slept with teary eyes and a wet pillow.
