(Aurora’s POV)
It was the weekend and I was sitting in my room after breakfast, flipping through a novel, but after a while, boredom crept in. I set the book aside and stretched, deciding to take a walk. As I wandered through the hallways, I spotted James walking by.
“James” I called out softly. He stopped and bowed slightly.
“Yes, ma’am?”
“Where is everyone?” I asked curiously.
“Mr. Alexander went to meet an old friend. The young masters are in their rooms” James informed me politely.
I nodded and continued my walk, eventually finding myself in the backyard. The fresh air and sprawling greenery immediately lifted my mood. As I walked further, I spotted a group of maids gathered near a side garden. They were laughing and playing a casual game of catch with a ball.
