(Author’s POV)
The dining room was warm and filled with the faint aroma of freshly cooked food. Aurora moved around the table with graceful ease, arranging the last of the dishes with the maids’ help. She had just set the final bowl down when she heard footsteps approaching.
Ian was the first to enter, his hair still slightly damp from his shower. His lips curved into a soft smile when he saw her, and without hesitation, he walked over, leaned down, and pressed a gentle kiss to her cheek.
Aurora felt her face warm up but smiled back.
“Go sit” She murmured softly.
“Yes, ma’am” He teased with a wink before taking his seat beside her.
Moments later, Asher appeared, his usual confident stride in place. He gave Aurora a quick side hug before sitting opposite her. Not long after, Owen and
