(Author’s POV)
As the credits rolled across the screen, Aurora blinked away the slight wetness in her eyes from the movie’s ending. She glanced at Ian, who still hadn’t taken his eyes off her. He leaned back casually, tossing another popcorn into his mouth, but his grin betrayed how pleased he was with himself.
“So this was your plan? Rent an entire theatre just for me?” Aurora shook her head, chuckling softly. Ian stretched, his boyish grin widening.
“Of course. You think I’ll let anyone else sit next to you when you watch your favorite movie for the first time in a theatre? Not happening”.
“You’re ridiculous” Her heart fluttered at his words, and she muttered shyly.
“Ridiculously in love with you” He shot back without hesitation, standing and offering his hand to her.
