It had been three days since Asher had confessed his feelings to Aurora. And in those three days, nothing had changed. Aurora still talked to him freely, still laughed around him, still smiled at him just like before. There was no awkwardness, no tension, no hesitation.
At first, Asher had been worried. He thought his confession might make things weird between them, that Aurora might distance herself or become reserved, unsure of how to act around him. But surprisingly, she hadn't changed at all.
