The dining room was silent, except for the occasional clinking of utensils against plates. The Skylar brothers and I were eating in comfortable yet quiet company until Asher finally spoke.
"The product I advertised smashed several records and became the best-selling product. So, the CEO of that brand has planned a grand celebration”.
I immediately looked up at him, my eyes lighting up.
"That’s amazing, Asher! Congratulations on your success" I said with a genuine smile.
His brothers, Owen, Ryan, and Ian, didn’t express their emotions as openly, but after a few seconds, each of them gave him a curt nod, a silent acknowledgment of his achievement.
