I paced my room, my heart racing. ‘This is it. Today’s the day’. I checked my reflection in the mirror, ensuring my professional outfit…a crisp white blouse, a black blazer, and matching trousers, looked perfect. My hair was neatly tied back, and I had opted for minimal makeup.
Taking a deep breath, I grabbed my bag and walked out of my room. As I reached the entrance, I found the driver waiting, ready to take me to Ryan's company.
After an hour or so, I stepped out of the car, clutching my bag tightly. My eyes widened as I looked up at the massive skyscraper that housed Ryan's company. The building gleamed in the sunlight, a testament to its stature and success.
