“Aiden have you seen her” I ask innocently.

Aiden gets up and walk out of the hose slamming the front door behind him.

Jenny appears from her room where she has just packed to go and stay with her folks and give me a worried look.

“You gonna be ok” she asks putting her bags by the door.

I nod and take a deep breath, “yes, we will be fine” I reply getting up to hug my friend.

“Ok, but call me if you need me ok” she smiles tilting her head to look at me.

I nod and see her to the door before she walks away.

Aiden doesn’t return for a few hours and even after I’ve tried to call and text he doesn’t let me know where he is or if he’s ok, I’ve all but given up waiting for him when the key turns in the door and in walks Aiden.
