I take Mandy to a dance club that I discovered while looking for a present for her birthday after we have finished dinner at a cozy café. In the darkness, there are flashing lights all around us, and the space is packed to the brim. It's not really the laid-back dancing I had in mind, but she looks like she's enjoying herself despite the fact that she's here.
As we make our way toward the dance floor, she grabs both of my arms. The song that is playing is extremely upbeat and very fast-paced. Mandy's dance moves look effortless, as if she's done them a million times before.
