At the end of the school hours, I rode back with my brothers, which were calmer than when we left particularly Adrian who chat with his friends throughout the ride.
We strode in, immediately splitting and returning to our various rooms. After a very thoughtful shower, I went in search of mum, it took me a while before I found her in her office working on her system.
"Hey, mum." I popped my head in the gap between the door and the frame.
She glanced up and smiled at me. "Hey, honey. Didn't hear you guys come in. How was school?" She grinned warmly.
I approached her going over to give her a tight hug. "It was good, I hung around with Downey and paid attention to the lessons. You didn't go to work today, did you?" I mused.
