I begged.
I caught up with her and quickly grabbed her hand, halting her steps. To be honest, I didn't think she would be angry enough not to want to speak to me. I get that I messed up our date and only showed my face to her after it had been announced to everyone in the pack that I would be getting married to Arabella. I get that.
But it wasn’t like I had a choice in the matter.
Regardless of my helplessness, Misan aggressively snatched her hand from me and gritted, “I don’t want to listen to you, Kaden. At least leave me alone!”
“I can’t just leave you alone. We have to–”
Misan snarled, “You had no problem doing that yesterday!”
