The next day happened to be a fine Thursday. I woke up feeling grouchy and, of course, still sore down there.
Even though I wasn’t looking forward to a lot of activities that were sure to happen today, I still looked forward to seeing Kaden, showing off Adia– or not, because I still haven’t had the talk with Kylie but I had sent a text last night.
“LET’S MEET UP AFTER COMBAT CLASS. I HAVE A LOT TO SHARE WITH YOU AND I HOPE YOU WILL LISTEN TO ME… PS: I have a little surprise for you as well.”
Although I wasn't sure about how best to handle Kylie, I didn't hesitate to send those words to her. She was my best friend after all and, since Bryan already knew, it wouldn't be long before Kylie figured it out and that would be bad.
