Aya took her time choosing her swim suit and outfit for tomorrow. This is the first time in a long while that she will go out for an outing, and the most important thing about this trip is Gavin. She crosses her fingers, hoping that this day will go according to their plan. “Aya! Let’s go!” Steven shouted by her door. Their van was ready and warmed up. Steven volunteered to drive for them. When Aya stepped in the van, there were only two seats available behind the driver’s seat. Don was there, but by the looks of it he gave up on his goal of breaking Aya and Gavin apart. He did not even have a comment about this setup, knowing that the queens set it up for her and Gavin. She smiled at Don as a sign of gratitude for making this day easier for them all. “Aya, plan for today is just be happy. Be yourself and enjoy the day.” Harry reminded Aya, knowing that she will not enjoy this trip if she would feel too much pressure around Gavin. “Thanks, guys for helping me get Gavin back.” Aya said with a genuine smile on her face. “Oh, my dear Aya; as long as you are happy we will support you.” Dobbie said and embraced Aya. Don looked out the window not wanting to meet Aya in the eye after what Dobbie said. “Beep, beep.” Steven honked in front of Gavin’s house. He instantly went out, bringing a backpack and an eco bag filled with chips and drinks. He was wearing a dark blue v-neck shirt and khaki linen shorts, perfectly complementing Aya’s dark blue denim jumper dress. The moment he stepped in the van, everyone greeted him. He smiled handed Harry the bag of snacks. He then looked around and saw Aya and the last remaining seat. “Hmm, can I sit beside you?” He asked Aya. “Sure.” She nodded and smiled at him. Gavin could jump in happiness right now, seeing Aya’s mood. But he held onto his emotions as he tried to collect himself. Gavin and Aya both have bags on their laps. Aya took out her phone and earphone. Gavin’s eyes glimmered when he saw Aya’s phone wallpaper was their selfie. He pretended not to see it; she opened a music app and played her favorite band. She glanced at Gavin who looked curiously at what she’s doing. She offered him the other piece of the earphone. “Do you want?” Aya asked Gavin. “Yeah, I’d love to.” Gavin accepted the other earphone piece. He genuinely wants to know what type of music Aya is listening to. To his astonishment, she was listening to indie music. She thought Aya would lean more to pop and mainstream music.   “You have good taste in music.” Gavin commented to Aya. “You’ll be surprised to learn what else tastes good with me.” She muttered. Gavin took off the earphones, as he did not hear Aya properly. “I’m sorry I did not hear you. What was that?” He asked. “I said, there is so much more that you don’t know about me.” Aya replied, completely avoiding her naughty comment earlier. The journey took around three hours, Aya and Gavin both fell asleep, they rested their heads on each other’s heads. Steven tapped them to wake them up as soon as he parked their van near. Gavin slowly opened his eyes and realized their hands were interlocked. He did not want to let go until Aya realized it as well. It felt too natural for him that it was inevitable when they sleep too close like that. “Aya, wake up, we are here.” Gavin caressed Aya’s face. “Hmm.” She groaned and embraced Gavin’s arms. He decided to let Aya sleep some more. If only he could make this situation with her permanent, no doubt in Gavin’s mind, he would grab it. A few minutes later, Aya finally wakes up and instantaneously apologized to Gavin for clinging to him. “You don’t have to apologize, Aya. I can be your pillow whenever you want to.” He smiled at her. They went down the van and walked towards the hotel reception where the rest were lounging. They were too early for the check in as their rooms were still being cleaned. Steven invited the others to the beach so they can enjoy the morning sun and the fresh morning breeze before they go to their rooms. The hotel manager offered a fresh breakfast buffet to their group as compensation by the hotel for failing to inform them that the rooms they booked are not available for an early check in.  Gavin and Aya sat beside each other. They both had fruits and bread on their plates. “Do you want more food?” Gavin asked Aya. “No, I’m good. How about you? Do you want coffee?” She asks him, remembering how he would prepare coffee for them every morning. It made Gavin smile that Aya was actually trying to cater to him, too. “Gavin?” Aya asks him again. “Ah yes, sorry. I already asked for us. It is still not available in the drinks section. I’ll get one later for us.” Gavin said to Aya. After eating, Steven walked to their table and distributed their room key cards. They all went to their respective rooms. Aya and Gavin’s room was located on the floor above the rest. Aya blushed, thinking how close their sleeping arrangements were. Aya went to her room and took off her jumper. She was already wearing her blue two-piece swimsuit inside she just took a chiffon beach cover up and tied it on her waist. When she got out of her room, Gavin was already there waiting for her. The awe on Gavin’s face was obvious, the voluptuous curves of Aya were a sight to behold. He wanted to keep Aya for his own, not wanting to share this view with other men. “Shall we?” she asked Gavin whose mouth was still gaping open looking thirsty for her. He nodded and walked beside her. “You look great.” He finally had the guts to admire her out loud like before. Aya glanced back at him and smiled. He was wearing a black swim trunk and a white muscle tee. “You don’t look bad yourself, babe. I mean Gavin.” She corrected herself. Gavin blushed at Aya’s slip. “Babe still sounds good to my ears.” He teased her. “Why are you suddenly flirting back at me?” Aya wanted to confront Gavin, but she held that thought back, as the day was still early. When they reached the beach, Aya removed her shawl and lay on it for sun bathing. Gavin swallowed hard sitting beside her. He does not want to go anywhere else seeing how many men are glancing her way. “Hey guys! Join us let’s play” Dobbie invited the two. They willingly obliged and moved closer to the rest of the guys. “What game? Aya asked Dobbie. “Drinking Game!” Harry shouted as he came, bringing some beers with Steven. “How does this game work except for the drinking aspect of it?” Gavin asked Harry. They all laughed, sensing Gavin was only interested in drinking. “Oh, you’re going to love it, our good ole never have I ever game. If you have never just say Never, but if you had then just take a shot.” Harry explained.  Don stood up and excused himself. “Sorry guys, I’m going to head back to my room, I am having a terrible headache.” He said and left. He is sensing that the rest are just setting up a romantic night for Gavin and Aya and he clearly did not want to take part in it. “First question, never have I ever fell in love at first sight.” Steven asked the group. The rest answered Never; Aya took the cup and drank it. Gavin also took the cup, but a pair of delicate hands took it from him. “I have” She drank the cup of beer from Gavin. “Jen? What are you doing here?” The sight of her irritated Aya.
