“Well, Steven rented a van from my dad’s shop. I asked him where you guys are headed, and he said here. What a coincidence, I’ve been planning to go here too!” Jen tried to explain herself.
No one believed her, but also, no one would rub it on her face. They accepted her as it was and tried to act normal. Jen mindlessly sat beside Gavin like she was invited to play the game with them. Aya glared at Steven for telling the details of their trip to Jen. It was obvious that Jen prepared for this day. She is wearing a sexy bikini that leaves almost nothing to the imagination and even brought a charcuterie basket with her.
Steven avoided Aya’s eyes not wanting to face her wrath. He just got another cup for Gavin and refilled it. Gavin accepted the cup from Steven and answered the question he was about to answer earlier. “I have.” He said and looked in Aya’s direction. He chugged the cup of beer in one go.
“Okay guys, next question!” Dobbie said to cut the awkwardness Jen brought into the group. They continued playing, but the questions had been a little subtle as they take turns asking questions. They can’t set up the questions for Aya because of Jen. But when it was Jen’s turn to ask a question; it was a totally different story.
“Never have I ever had s*x with more than one guy or girl.” She said in a tone filled with malice. She looked at Aya as if asking her to answer first.
“Never.” Gavin answered first. He knows what happened to Aya, and he does not want to put her on the spot. Gavin then stood up. "I'm sorry but this game is getting boring." He then looked at Aya. “Babe, let’s go swim.” He offered his hand to Aya.
Aya loved how Gavin called her babe in front of Jen. She accepted Gavin’s hand as he helped her stand up. But he did not let go of her hand, like the sweet boyfriend he is.
“Babe? Are they back together?” Jen asks the rest of the guys who dispersed quickly and went into the water as well.
Aya understands what Jen wanted to prove, and she was ready to answer it truthfully. However, it surprised her that Gavin actually ended the possibility of Jen bringing up her past. “Does he know about my past?” Aya pondered while they both walked towards the shore.
“You did not have to save me like that. I can answer that question.” Aya said to Gavin as they walked towards the deeper end of the water.
“I know. But I can’t let her bring dirt to you like that. You only have to talk about it in your own time.” Gavin muttered. Aya let go of his hand when they were at the deeper end of the water. Gavin stood in front of Aya, as if protecting her from being hit with the wave directly. They wadded int he water as they wait for the waves to hit them. The shore line they are standing on is uneven.Gavin is standing on a drop off, which is about a two-foot drop. This made their height about the same, while the water level was just below their chests.
“So you know about it?” Aya asked Gavin.
He smiled at Aya and pinched her nose. “I’ll know about it when you are ready to tell me about it.” His answer made Aya’s heart flutter. This is the first time that she met a guy that did not make a big deal about her past. Truth or rumors, it did not seem to faze him.
“You know, Gavin. You are quite different from the men I’ve met before.” Aya revealed to Gavin. Just as she said that, a powerful wave hit them. The wave pushed Gavin towards Aya. He placed his hand on her hips to stabilize his footing. Her heart is thumping hard; it’s been a while since they’ve been this physically close to each other.
“Hmm, being different from other men you met. Is that a good thing or not?” Gavin could not put it words on how he should react with what Aya just said.
She slowly lifted her hands and anchored them on Gavin’s neck. Aya smiled at him, “It’s a good thing.”
Gavin exhaled heavily. “Whew! Really? That’s a relief.” He smirked.
“Well, for the record, you are the only one who turned me down when I basically offered myself to you.” She chuckled.
“Oh, for that, I’m sorry.” He apologized to Aya just in case he offended her.
Aya finds it funny that he is actually apologizing like it he regretted doing it. “Silly. I have to admit though that it hurt my ego a bit. But come to think of it, you are the only guy that wanted to know me in a deeper sense. It meant that you are not a slave of your lust.” She explained further.
Gavin could not comment on that since it would be a lie if he would say that he does not look at Aya like she’ a s*x goddess.
“How about me? What am I compared to other women you’ve met?” She wanted a straight answer from Gavin, knowing Jen was lurking behind them.
“Nothing compares to you, Aya. I don’t care about any other girls. You are the only one for me.” Gavin looked directly into Aya’s eyes. His stomach churned and turned viciously not knowing if Aya would accept his style of pursuing her again.
Aya lowered her head, feeling cornered because of Gavin’s frankness. He lifted her chin to face him again. “I am giving up, Aya.” He said.
A strong wave hit them again, this time it was harder. Aya hangs on to Gavin, her legs automatically embraced his hips. Gavin held on to her thighs to lift her up to his upper torso. He does not want to put down Aya, because he is too aroused by their position. He was afraid it would poke her and it might screw up everything again.
Aya’s arms are on his shoulders. He lifted his gaze and their eyes met like those times they would devour each other by impulse. Aya noticed Gavin’s breathing changed. “Are you, okay Gavin?” She asked him. “Are you uncomfortable? Let me down, first.” She tapped Gavin’s hand on her thighs to let go of her.
Gavin was hesitating, but as she let go of Aya’s thighs, her body brushed against his hardness. “Oops, sorry.” Gavin apologized to Aya.
“Mr. Gavin Knight, you are so naughty. I just said you are not a slave to your lust.” Aya chuckled. Her smile made Gavin feel better. It seems like she is not taking it against him.
“I’m not. I won’t force you to do anything. But I’d like you to know that this is my body’s natural reaction towards you, when we are this close.” He tried to clarify his situation.
“Ah really?” Aya anchored her left hand on Gavin’s neck again while her other hand traced his upper torso. “If it’s my fault, then I should take responsibility for this.” Her hand ended on Gavin’s trunks.
