Aya's social circle exploded with her post. Their online support elated Aya as they are dubbed the power couple of Hudson. The truth is, she only wanted to announce that Gavin was officially out of the market. He is with her and no other can come in between them and break them apart again.
“Beep, beep” Gavin heard their service for tonight honked its horn. It is something he personally chose for tonight and he was excited that it was already outside waiting for them.
“Our service is here.” Gavin said to Aya. He extended his hand to her like a proper gentleman. She saw how Aya’s eyebrows furrowed.
“Service?” She asked him. He just smiled at his future wife. He loves bombarding her with little surprises like this.
"I can't let you walk outside on this frosty night with those high heels? No, I don't think so. It would be too uncomfortable for you, baby." Gavin's answer to Aya sounded so reasonable she did not contradict him anymore.
However, when they reached the front door; Aya’s jaw dropped. “Limousine? My gosh, baby, are we going to a prom?” She asked Gavin. He was also the one who insisted they dress up for tonight. But since it would be the first time for her to see him in a nice suit jacket, she instantly agreed. Never in her wildest dream did she ever thought that Gavin planned this again for her.
“The night is still young, your birthday is not done yet, my Queen.” He answered her and opened the car door for her. For Aya, her fiancé is the only remaining testament that chivalry still exists. He even placed his hand on her head when she stepped inside just to make sure she didn't hit her head on the car.
“Thanks, babe.” She smiled at him as she entered the white limousine. Aya scooted over and Gavin sat beside her. Aya crossed her legs that her dress, her high slit dress showed much of her satiny thighs and legs. He rested his warm hand on her exposed thighs, as if claiming them as his.
When they arrived at the bar, Aya’s eyes widened seeing a red carpet with matching golden stanchion posts with red velvet ropes. She lived in Hudson for years and this place never upgraded into something so classy like this.
Gavin opened the door for her. The moment she stepped out of the limousine the door of the bar opened and the Queens were waiting for her on the stage. They sang their version of a happy birthday song. The bar’s patrons did not expect such an event as well, but they were more than happy to join in the fun.
Gavin led Aya to the table reserved for them. The entire night was a tribute to Aya’s favorite songs. Next thing she knew Dobbie and Harry were making Aya jokes on stage. Aya could not stop laughing. She glanced at Gavin, seeing him burst into laughter as well made all the Aya jokes worthwhile. Her joy bubbled up inside of her heart like no other moment in her life was able to do.
Dobbie and Harry called her on stage before she blows the cake. “Ladies and gentlemen, here is our lovely birthday celebrant. Our dear sister; Ms. Sofia White.” The crowd clapped their hands. Gavin even whistled to support his woman.
“Sis, you know you are gorgeous, but today, I don’t know there is an extra glow in you.” Dobbie commented while she spun Aya around, showing her luscious curves and smooth skin under the spotlight. Aya’s beauty is truly incomparable she could easily be a print ad model if she wanted to.
“Oh, I’m using a new product for my skin. I switched to an organic soap.” Aya said, thinking it might be responsible for the glow Dobbie is pertaining to.
“No, girl. You know what is more effective?” he asked her with a grin on his face.
“What?” She innocently wanted more information.
“A man’s love.” He said it directly into the microphone that the crowd cheered on, putting Aya on the spot.
“Just like a flower blooming, when it receives the right amount of wetness, I mean watering.” Dobbie intended the pun.
Aya rode on the fun and showed her engagement ring. “That is very true. I am with the right man. I’ve never felt so loved before. Thanks to this good-looking man.” Aya pointed in Gavin’s direction.
Dobbie and Harry commended Gavin for loving their sister like she deserves. He humbly bowed to the two hosts for acknowledging his effort to make Aya happy. “This could only mean one thing," Harry said as his finishing punch line.
“What do you mean?” Aya asked.
Harry pretended to whisper to Aya’s ears, but the microphone was still near his mouth. “It means the s*x is superb.”

The program continued, they again sang for her and she blew out her candles. For Aya, yesterday and today are the best birthday celebrations she ever had. Aya excused herself from Gavin to go to the washroom.
“You are, one tough bit*h” Jen commented on Aya.”
But Aya was too happy tonight that she did not want to ruin it by listening to what Jen was about to say. “Thanks and goodnight Jen. I hope you have a happy life. Gavin and I are happy so please forget about him now.” She said her piece before she held the door handle.
Jen laughed hysterically. It confused Aya to the point that she stopped in her tracks.
“You honestly think that this is about Gavin?” She asked Aya.
Aya shrugged her shoulders. “What else?” She answered directly.
“I know that guy is hot, but he is practically a loser. Women like me need big pockets not big di*ks. I just messed with him because I know how much you like him. See I only find joy in destroying you.” Jen pours out the dirt of her character in front of Aya.
She raised her eyebrows and faced the disgruntled Jen. “Well, if that’s the case. Then, good luck. I am at my happiest now.” She smiled at her before she left the washroom. If there is one thing that she learned from the queens is how to handle situations like this. Her sassiness always saves her from mean spirits like Jen.
Jen felt intense anger as she almost slammed the big mirror in the washroom with her bare hands. She could not gather her thoughts about where Aya gets her courage to act like that in front of her. It is as if she is always a step ahead of her and her attacks. She does not even exert effort to do her counter attacks. But Jen is determined, she cannot just let Aya get away and enjoy her life. She thought she destroyed her life enough when they were in Victoria, but she is living her life again here in Hudson? “I will not let you be happy, never!” Jen grunted in anger.
As soon as Aya stepped out of the washroom, Gerard grabbed her arm and pulled her to a corner. Aya took a deep sigh as the two villains in her life actually approached her like this.
“So your course of action for my warning is an engagement? Really? So you want to marry him first before he gets killed because of you? He gets killed just because you did not do anything to try to save him?” Gerard laughed mirthlessly at Aya. “Oh, I see, you did not even tell him about it, right?” Gerard figured her out.
“Let go of me!” Aya said it loud enough that people nearby saw Gerard grab her hand, and he instantly releases her, afraid of drawing in more eyes to him.
“My offer still stands. You only have a week Aya. He will go out of Hudson safely, in return… You have to marry me.” Gerard said to Aya.
She left him without a word. Aya did not want to entertain any deals with Gerard. She went back to their table and a few minutes later, left with Gavin.
The two extremely tired from their two-day escapade that they lie flat on their bed right after they prepared for bed. "What did you wish when you blew out your cake? Gavin curiously asked Aya.
She smiled before she answered. "I wished to have a happy life with you." Aya bared her soul to Gavin. Her revelation touched Gavin that he embraced her tightly with the remaining strength he has.
“Are you exhausted?” Gavin asked Aya.
“No, not at all, baby. I am so energetic right now I came up with another plan.” She shared to Gavin. He stared at her lovingly, willing to support her to whatever plan she thinks off, even if he was really tired these past few days.
Aya answered Gavin in a serious tone. “Baby, tomorrow, let’s move out of Hudson.”
