Don’s face is so serious it looked like he could kill him with this stare. “Sit here.” He commanded Gavin. He lowered his head and sat in the chair in front of Don. He wants to appease Don because he is Ayas’s sister and he would like a harmonious relationship with her family. A family he never had when he was a kid.
“I actually wanted to talk to you too.” Gavin said to Don.
“Oh, really? Okay, go ahead.” Don had let Gavin speak first. His eyes still furiously stared him down.
Gavin swallowed hard, thinking about how Don despises him right now. His chances with Aya are completely down the drain. “Well, I just want to inform you of my intentions with Aya.” He tried his best not to stutter. “I am serious with Aya. I really like her and I will pursue her the right way.” Gavin was confident his clean intentions were enough for him to win Don’s approval.
“I knew that already. Why do you think I would call you here to talk?” Don confronted Gavin. “On the contrary, I called you here to tell you to stop whatever your intentions are with my sister. It will not bring you good, I am sure of that.” He did not say it directly, but his threat was not something Don could easily take.
“Is this a joke or something?” He chuckled, but when he saw Don’s serious face, he asked again. “But why?” Gavin was eager to know the answer, he is sure he can fix it.
“What do you mean why? Can’t you look at yourself, Gavin?” Don stood up and looked down at Gavin. “You can’t even fix yourself! What can you offer her?” Don gave Gavin a reality slap. “I don’t intend to talk down on you Gavin, but I believe you know your place.” His last words sealed his chances with Aya. Don walked away and left him there.
Gavin felt like his soul had left him at that moment. With the other drags in the room, he wanted to be swallowed whole by the ground. Dobbie went to him and tapped his shoulder. “Are you okay? Boss is not usually like that. Don’t worry it will pass.” He tried to lift his spirits.
Gavin nodded, not wanting to say anything more that would bury him in the sh*t he was already in.
“Where’s my hot babe?” Gavin heard the familiar voice. He turned around and saw Aya walking inside the dressing room towards him. He smiled and looked at her with affection. He stood up to meet Aya halfway, but as soon as Aya saw him; she ran towards him and embraced him lovingly.
“Oh my God, will I ever be able to let go of her?” Gavin asked himself as he hugged Aya back and kissed her head. “I’ll take you home.” Gavin whispered to Aya. She nodded, and smiled at Gavin. The two left the dressing room quietly, hand in hand.
“Bye guys! I’ll take home this hottie first.” She joked with the other guys who felt sympathetic towards Gavin. They waved goodbye like no confrontation between Gavin and Don ever happened.
“Let’s take the cab.” Aya said as soon as they reached the exit of the bar. Gavin initially planned on talking with Aya on their way home as they walk, but Aya must have been exhausted to walk back. Nevertheless, he instantly agreed to her request and hailed the first cab that he saw.
As soon as they got inside the cab, Aya rested her head on Gavin’s shoulders. “Thank you for singing for me earlier.” She said in a low voice.
Gavin rested his head on Aya’s head, “I will do everything for you, Aya.” He kissed Aya’s hand. Gavin feels that what he has with Aya is mutual, but he can’t shake off what Don said earlier. It is true, how can he drag Aya to his dark life, he does not have a home, he cannot support himself how much more Aya. Gavin has never felt so low in his life, since it did not matter before, and now suddenly with Aya, it is what matters the most.
“I did not know you could sing so well, babe.” Aya praised Gavin, seeing him out of his mind. She wanted to pull him back.
“Ahm, thank you. I’m glad you liked it, babe,” Gavin answered her.
“Are you okay?” Aya ultimately felt Gavin’s mood change.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Don’t worry about me.” Gavin assured Aya. The cab stopped in front of their store. Aya hurriedly got off the cab and excitedly pulled Gavin. He took the key from Aya and opened the store himself. This is his last night staying at Aya’s home. He intends to explain everything to her.
Aya stood behind him as he locked the store from the inside. And as soon as he turned his back Aya stood up directly in front of him. “I want to give you a reward, baby.” She said in her sexy voice. She took Gavin’s hand and pulled him towards the backroom door.
Like a starving little monster, she grabbed Gavin by his neck and devoured his lips. It took Gavin by surprise; he did not know Aya could be so aggressive like this. He lifted Aya off the ground and she straddled him. Their aggressive kisses slowly turned to passionate ones. Gavin walked towards the sofa and carefully placed Aya on her back.
They haven’t even opened the lights yet. Their only source of light is the light of the moon coming from the kitchen window. However, they couldn’t care less, especially Aya. She had planned her every move already, and she was determined to execute it.
Gavin lowered his head to her and positioned on top of her, kissing her once more, and then he left her mouth and went down to her neck. His hand slid inside her top and just as he did that …“Ahhh” Aya moaned in pleasure Gavin is an expert in making her feel good she thought.
Gavin stopped like it finally brought him back to his senses. He is here to say goodbye to Aya, but how can he leave her like this? “I’m sorry.” He said as he sat back up.
Aya sat up as well and instantly asked Gavin, “Why? What’s wrong?”
