The Real Deal

“ding, ding,”

Aya’s phone was relentless, messages after messages. The post she expected from Jen is there and circulating around their social commons. She knew her bullies well and how dirty they play.  

Gavin and Aya shared her phone, looking at the messages. It was a selfie photo of Jen covering her ears with the caption; “As expected scandalous woman cannot keep her pants on. So promiscuous and scandalous, they don't even respect their fellow hotel guests. #loudsex #youknowwho,”

Aya then shared a video of their prank earlier on their personal group page and then placed a caption. “My Knight and I are officially back together and did a little prank for our nosy little neighbor. #loudsexprank #youknowwho,”

Their common friends tagged Jen on the prank and laughed at her for being pranked. To save her face, Jen deleted her post earlier. 

Aya showed her victory laugh at Gavin. They both sat on the bed; they were still laughing at Jen for making a fool of herself. Aya was able to turn around the situation so quickly. Gavin felt proud of his girl. The kind of a princess that does not need some rescuing, just the adequate support, love and respect from him.

 “Baby, can I ask you a question?” Aya gathered her thoughts as she asked Gavin, the question that lingered to her thoughts since this morning.

“Sure, anything you ask. I promise to tell you everything about me. I want you to trust me and know me better.” He declared to Aya.

“What made you change your mind about us?” Aya wanted to know the answer since it took her a lot of efforts and a fairly long time to change Gavin’s mind.

“It’s because of your relentless love. I saw how you fought for me, how you defied your brother’s wishes for me. How willing you were to know me on a much personal level. I was okay with that set up, but when you started to drift away from me again, I panicked. I realized I can’t lose you like that.” Gavin explained to Aya while he stared directly at her, explaining his heart out.

“Honestly, this trip was my last push. If you still push me away, I was going to stop. I thought I should just accept the fact that you don’t feel the same for me anymore.” Aya’s tone suddenly became serious.

“I’m sorry if made it hard for you. The truth is, I wanted you to give up on me. I sincerely thought I was not good enough for you.” Gavin apologized to Aya. “But what the heck, right? I was going crazy thinking I won't see you again, that I won't be able to talk to you again. Damn, that was hard. So please, baby let’s face everything together.” He added.

“I like that better, baby.” She answered.

They both lie on the bed, but unlike before the tension between them is lesser. “I like this.” Gavin smiled as he commented while they both stare at the ceiling after laughing so hard. He took Aya’s hand and kissed it.

Aya blushed at Gavin’s gesture. “What do you like, specifically?” She wanted him to elaborate further.

“This.” Gavin pointed at Aya and himself. “Our relationship has improved. I did not realize that we can stay in one bed without devouring each other.” He said as he looked at Aya and rested his face on her shoulder.

Aya never thought of it that way until Gavin pointed it out. “Was I too aggressive for your taste?” She asked. She chose not to say the truth out loud, because if Gavin did not say it, she might have kissed him already, or probably even more.

Gavin pulled Aya closer to him. “No, not like that. It’s just that our previous set up. The pressure to have you all the time was enormous. But now, I know better. I can call you mine without having to kiss you in front of anyone else because beyond what they see… You are truly mine.”

Aya covered her face with her hand. “Oh sh*t!”

Gavin raised his head to look at the distraught Aya. “Are you okay? What’s wrong?”

“I just realized, I can’t be your girlfriend.” Aya sat up and faced Gavin.

“What? Why?” Gavin asked with panic in his voice.

“I did not expect that you could be so poetic. Grr! I want to kiss you so bad right now.” She grunted in frustration.

Gavin chuckled at Aya and grabbed her small face for a gentle kiss on her lips. “It’s okay, baby. I like to kiss you and hug you all the time as well.” He then hugged her tenderly, wanting Aya to feel his actual intentions.

“Do you find me less attractive now that the s****l tension between us is over?” Aya hugged Gavin back as she brushed his hair with her fingers.  

Gavin pulled Aya’s whole body closer to him and her legs over his hips. “Can you feel me?” He asked Aya.

She blushed, feeling Gavin’s hardness between her thighs. “How can I not feel you?” she gently tapped Gavin’s shoulders.

“s****l tension is not over between us. I just feel more comfortable now that I’m sure we are making love and not just making each other feel good or for fun s*x. And most of all I want our first to be romantic and memorable.” He answered Aya.

Aya could not control her tears. It is the first time a man saw her beyond the scandals she’s been through. Gavin loves her whole being, not just her body. He respects her more than she respects herself.

Gavin heard her silent cries and fast heartbeat. He looked at her and wiped her tears. “Don’t cry, baby. It’s okay.”

Aya chuckled at Gavin who looked worried at her. “I’m just happy.” She assured Gavin that everything was okay.

The two fell asleep in each other’s arms. Gavin was right. It was very unlike them to be this intimate without all the extras. But undeniably so, they feel satisfied and loved.

"Hello. I want to talk to you." Jen said to the other person on the line. She was pacing back and forth inside her room, waiting for other noises from the other room. She barely slept. The big dark circles under her eyes are proof of her battle last night. Jen even placed her ears directly on the walls. She wanted to prove that the two were not innocent after all. She was too sure they would be frisky because Gavin did not leave Aya's room. 

"Why? What is there to talk about?" He answered her directly.

Jen sneered. She made up her mind. Revenge is the only way she can forgive Gavin and Aya for everything she went through."We have the same enemies. Gavin and Aya."
