“Dylan!” I ran past the men guarding the door only to be stopped before I can open it.
“Doctor Shirley said he still needs a few tests before anyone can go in.” I looked at Henry and let out a huge sigh.
“What else?”
“She said there’s no infection and everything looks good on paper, but they will have to monitor him closely.” I nodded and stood to the side window and looked inside.
Dylan laid on the bed quietly as Doctor Shirley hovered over him checking here and there. After waiting another thirty minutes she came out.
“Can I go see him now?” I asked right away as she opened the door and she nodded.
“Quietly though.” I nodded and entered his room.
“Hey,” I whispered as I approached his bed, and he opened his eyes slightly while turning towards me.
“Hey beautiful.” He smile
