It was finally time for him to go. "Penn," he said softly.
"Do you have to go now?" She asked instead.
He nodded before saying, "Yes, I have to go."
"Okay then. Bye Vernon!" She waved as he stood up.
"Bye Penn!" He waved back and she didn't stop waving until she could no longer see him. He also did the same, there was no way he could not wave back not with how vigorously she was waving.
