Eric pov

I was sitting in my room at my desk trying to focus on school work. Mom decided that Cosette and I will do digital learning while we wait to get everything settled. However, I kept thinking about Isabelle. I hope her counseling session was going well. She is a very strong person. I thank the Moon Goddess that she paired me with Isabelle. I’m so very lucky. Isabelle is suppose to come to my room after her session is over. My wolf and I are in agreement that we wont mark her until she is ready. We will never force anything on her. She is a gift to us and we will protect her at all costs.

I finally got done with all my school work just as Isabelle came into my room. She is so beautiful. "Hey beautiful, how was your session?” She smiled, “It went really well today. I am feeling really good. Eric?” "Yes Isabelle, what’s wrong?” Her face lit up and she walked over and sat on my lap facing me. I was shocked. “Eric will you kiss me? I’m ready for that step between us.” Without another word I kissed her sweet plump lips. Oh my goddess she tastes so good. Isabelle leaned into me more and deepened the kiss. After some time we broke apart panting. “Wow Isabelle that was amazing.” She blushed “That was my first kiss.” "Your kisses are divine beautiful.” I held her in my arms and we sat there for awhile just enjoying each other’s touch and embrace.

Suddenly Isabelle screamed and jumped off of me. I touched her and she was burning hot. I lifted her up and took her outside. “Mom, Dad, Cosette come out back quickly I think Isabelle is about to shift.” I laid her down on the grass. “It’s ok Isabelle you’re shifting. Just relax, dad will be here soon.” She screamed again. Dad ran up “Isabelle let the pain take over and consume you it will lessen the pain and be quicker to shift.” She whimpered but did as he said. We all gasped when she fully shifted, even my dad was surprised.

“Isabelle, you are half white and half black with a star on your forehead. You’re so beautiful. I am going to shift as well.” I shifted and stood there and waited for her to come to me. I mind linked Isabelle. “Isabelle, we can mind link while in wolf form because we are mates,” I told her. “Eric I didn’t think I’d shift so soon. I read we don’t shift until we are 18.” I was surprised too. I hope the lawyer gets back soon with the birth certificate. “What is your wolfs name Isabelle?” “My name is Ciara, mate.” “What a beautiful name for my beautiful mate.” I told her. “Ciara can you help Isabelle shift back into a human please? She needs to be examined by Doc to make sure she is ok.” Ciara just nodded. I shifted back and got dressed. Finally, Isabelle was in her human form. She was extremely weak. Cosette and mom got her dressed. I carried her to Doc to make sure she was ok.

“Isabelle is doing just fine. I have the results from the blood tests. She is a royal. I don’t understand though how its possible she was adopted though. Makes me suspect that she was kidnapped as a pup.” Our mouths dropped open. “So you’re saying her parents are the King and Queen?” "I am not certain which royals are her parents. That is something we need to find out. Alpha Stevens could you contact the King and Queen and explain what’s going on?” My dad didn’t even hesitate. He pulled his phone out and called the King. “Your majesty, Alpha Stevens here. I am calling about a possible member that might have went missing in your family or that of the royals.” Soon my father put his phone away. “They will be here by the end of the week. Joselyn please make sure everything is prepared for their arrival.”

“Father do you believe she is royal then?” “Son I am sure they wouldn't come all the way here if they didn’t think she was.” That made sense, I suppose I am still shocked. I went to Isabelle’s room to check on her. "Eric is it true? Am I really a royal?” My heart melted how sweet and innocent she asked. “We will find out for sure when the king and queen come at the end of the week.” She pulled my hand and had me lay next to her. I sighed in content. I am so glad she is ok after her first shift. “You’re wolf is very beautiful Isabelle. Ive never seen a wolf white on one side and black on the other.” “I want to see her next time I shift. She told me she was beautiful.” I chuckled, “We can make it so you see yourself in wolf form. I’m very proud of you. You handled your first shift better than most.” I ran my fingers through her hair and soon she was sound asleep. I kissed the top of her forehead and went to the kitchen.

My dad and mom were in the kitchen. “Are you hungry dear?” I nodded and sat down and just stared off in space. “Son are you ok?” My dad asked me with a concerned look on his face. "Has the lawyer called about a birth certificate yet?” They both smiled at each other and nodded. “She is actually 18 as of today.” I looked at them shock all over my face. “So she is the same age as i am. Did her captures lie so no one would be suspicious?” "More than likely son” Dad told me. I sat there, then a great idea came to mind. “Since its still early can we throw her a birthday party of just us today, then a big birthday party Saturday?” My mom smiled, “yes we can lets go to the store and get some stuff.” “Cosette come on shopping for Isabelle’s birthday. Will explain on way to town.” I’ve never seen my sister move as fast as she does when it comes to shopping. She was already standing by the Jeep. Mom and I laughed and shook our heads. “Shopping here we come!” We all laughed and drove off. I really hope she likes her gift I plan to get her.

Our shopping was a success and managed to buy everything on the list in a short time. I’m so glad we don’t live far from the strip mall. We made it home in time for Cosette to take Isabelle on a run so we could decorate. I hope she likes her surprise birthday party. I especially hope she likes the gifts I got her. We have until 6pm to get everything set up and ready for her. My mom has gone into decorator mode, so everything will look amazing for her party.
