Chapter 5 Kali crouched under the hatch, blowing silver-edged clouds of steam into the dimness lit by a single light. The four others, Donagh, Aidin, Stani and Jade, were nothing more than blinking eyes surrounding him. The air in the maintenance tunnel was so cold that it hurt his nose and throat to breathe, yet none of them complained or told him to hurry.
