Chapter Thirty-Seven
The large steel doors slid open and Tasha drove ORV 87-4-1 back inside. Everyone felt a little relief to be back home. But they also felt good about what they could do for the community living in the old sewer systems. They’d been able to get them two propane generators and several small electrical appliances. They could also now monitor radiation levels and begin returning to the surface. Anyone from 87 that remained in the area would already have good friends.
Members of the medical team were waiting to meet the crew to collect the radiation detectors and vehicles to assess their exposure. The four explorers would be headed to Training Room 6 for debriefing, but there was one thing they needed to do first.
