And I swear, I was never more afraid than at that moment.
The shadow took shape, and it wasn't a dog or a bear, or even a wolf. It was a monster. One that I never thought I would see in life because I was sure that those things didn't exist in real life. Or unless my life wasn't as real as I thought it was.
"Damn." I heard Eiden blurt out and felt the car accelerate. "Hold on.”
I buckled up as fast as I could, and when I looked back, I saw nothing. The beast was gone. I didn't understand the reason why that thing was following us, but I didn't care, I just looked at Eiden and tried to trust his abilities to get us out of here as soon as possible.
"What the hell is that?" I spat looking at Bastian who immediately told me:
