Over Hot Chocolate and Red Wine

The changes

2 weeks after I started working with Ian as his PA, our graduation day is held. A lot of media gathering outside our college to make scope about Ian Anderson graduation day. He is the valedictorian for this year. He gives a speech about continue chasing our dream at the ceremony. He is surrounded by reporters after. I look at his answering the reporter’s questions. He look so charismatic. I notice a lot of the girl start hovering over him whenever he walk. I don’t blame them. He was on the magazine front last week posing shirtless. He was voted as the most eligible bachelor in the city by the women’s reader. I smirk at them. Those bitches are stupid. I got to f**k him while u guys waiting for him to pay attention at your pathetic ass.

            “Let’s take picture at the courtyard.” Lorrie pulled me. Her action brought me back to reality.

Mr. Brook and my mum are here too along with Lorrie’s family and Ed’s sister. We walk to courtyard and poses for the photos. We took dozens of them with different pose. Ed manage to get us a personal photographer for our special day. I bet he paid with “special price” too.

After returning our robes, Mr. Brook treat us lunch at Italian restaurant. They are busy talking about my mum’s wedding that will be held next week. I sigh and played with my spaghetti. Ed notices my solemn mood.

            “What’s wrong, Ivy?” He asked.

I sigh deeply and replied.

            “I will miss our time together at college.”

            “Aww… Me too.” Lorrie awed and reaches for my hand. She grips it tightly.

            “It’s not like we don’t get to see each other again.” Ed said. He wipes his lips with napkins.

            “It’s true. I would like for us to hang out every day. Now we are busy working.” I said sadly.

Ed is busy working at his new company. He is very hard to reach. He said their company is busy pitching business ventures at Ian’s company. All staff are practically worked harder as he said Ian’s fellow board of director is hard to impress. Lorrie had move back to her parent’s house in the town just outside the city. She helps her mum run an orphanage. Lorrie is major in paediatric psychology. Now she is licensed counsellor for kids at her mum’s orphanage. Sometimes she would make a visit to the paediatric hospital in the city for counselling sessions.

            “Oh. Stops being melancholic. Let’s catch up.” Ed cuts my word.

            “How was it working closely with the most eligible bachelor in the city?” He looked at me naughtily.

            “Good.” I replied shortly.

            “Oh come on. Did u f**k him?” Ed asked. Lorrie giggles and sips some white wine.

            “No.” I lied.

Truth be told, we f**k every day after work. Unlike in college, he would bring me to every residential hotel in the city owned by his family and f**k me senselessly. He bribes the hotel manager to keep our little secret meeting from the media’s ear.  We would stay at the executive suits until the middle of the night. He drive me home after to avoid my mum suspicions. We only hangs out during workdays. Over weekend, he had to attend private family business.

            “If I were u Ivy, I’ll beg him to f**k me.” Ed makes surprising remarks.

My eye widen over his word.

            “Come on, Ed. Don’t u forget she had her own f**k buddy?” Lorrie whispered slowly.

She glances over my mum. Luckily my mum didn’t notice.

            “Oh yeah. The hunky mysterious dude. Who is he by the way? Did we know him?” Ed asked.

            “Ok u two. Get off my s*x life. U guys doesn’t know him. It was one time. End of the story.” I said sternly.

            “f**k Ivy. How many one night stand u done? Are u turning into Ed?” Lorrie exclaimed.

Ed smirks at me. I ignore her question and finishing my last bit of my meals from the plate. I know if I continue they will dig deeper into Ian and I s****l encounters.

That night I lie on my bed looking at my phone waiting for Ian’s call. He promise to call me tonight after his family dinner. Apparently his dad calls his entire family member to celebrate his graduation over dinner at the luxurious restaurant in the city. Suddenly I hear a knock on my door.

            “Come in.”I instructed.

I sit up on the bed and my mum makes her way in. She smiles at me and sit on the edges of my bed.

            “What’s up, mum?” I asked. I play with my hair.

            “I just want to inform u since I’ll be getting married, I will move to Jasper’s home outside the city. We plan to bring u with us. But u have your work here I think we will leave u here alone.” She said solemnly.

            “It’s okay mum. I know this will happen. One day I will moves out too. I am happy for you. I’ll manage. I had Ed with me and Lorrie will visit us once in awhile.” I assured her.

She smiles. She hugs me tightly.

            “Promise me to take a good care of yourself. And no boys allowed in this house except Ed.” She make her remarks.

            “Okay, I promise.” I put my hand up swearing.

            “Go to sleep. U have to work tomorrow.” She said and walk toward the door and close it.

I lie against the bed head. I sigh. I will be living alone after this. That’s mean more sexy time for me and Ian. I grin widely. Suddenly I feel my phone vibrate. It is a text from Ian.

            Sorry baby I can’t call u tonight. Family emergency.

            And cancel my meeting for tomorrow.

I purse my lips. I guess tonight I will not be hearing his sexy voice over the phone.
