Chapter 11 Reid came home after another three hours. Cameron knew that he hadn’t been driving for all three of those hours, but he didn’t begrudge the psychic the time away. Reid was spending the time trying to help Cameron get his house back. If he wanted a night off or whatever, it wasn’t Cameron’s business. Reid raced into the bedroom as soon as he got home, the thudding of his feet on the old wooden stairs announcing his presence. Cameron emerged from his self-imposed isolation to join the partners after giving them a few minutes to deal with the attack privately. Cameron didn’t need to be there for that. He wasn’t really part of the team. He was just a client, after all. After fifteen minutes had passed, during which he could hear murmuring coming from his bedroom but not much else
