Red Dress Chapter 1

*Niqolette's point of view

The club was the best idea ever!I must say the time that I have spent away from Aden was the most memorable of them all.The night was still young.There is still enough time to enjoy myself with the ladies.Angela seems to have forgotten that she has a beta at home,when a blond tall guy smiled at her.Deep down inside I was wondering how the dinner was going with Aden.

"Are you seriously just going to sit here Nikki?Have some fun we are only young once!"

"Out of a thousand names you had to pick that one?"

"Yeah!I like it I must admit it sounds sexy and kind of independent don't you think?"

"Well since you think that I'm that independent how about a few shots?"

"I thought that you would never ask!"

We made our way to the bar when I saw a very familiar face in the crowd.She was dancing all by herself in the corner.Who else could do it better than Tasha?She must have seen me because she was walking straight up to me.No words can describe how I feel at this very moment.Happiness or sadness, whatever came to the top I had to hold in.Tasha was just not known in the pack as the party animal but,also as the private messenger to my father.You would guess that she is trying to follow her father's footsteps even though she despises it.Tonight, no guard of mine will be let down like all the other times.She almost burst out in tears when she saw me.Angela looked at me like I was crazy,but once she knew who it was she was on her own mission again.

"I'm guessing three shots?"

"Yeah,how about we make that four shots!"my voice was low key and calm.Tasha gave me a big hug with arms so tight around my body that I could even hardly breath.Guess she did miss me after all.After we had our shots we went to a quiet table not far from the bar nor from the dance floor.

"What on earth are you doing here in the club bestie?"

"Well uhm..."

"She is with me.I had a date but got stood up so we decided to run by the club before heading home."With a lie like that Tasha will believe it since she thinks that the Alpha is prince charming.There is not a hair on his body that is charming!

She kept asking questions about Aden and I over and over again.I'm guessing that no one knows about the flaming redhead mistress so it seems to me.Right now I just wanted to enjoy my evening with my friends rather than talk about Aden "the s**t head Alpha".

We headed to the dance floor. As we started to dance my phone went off with a message saying: "I would just like to make myself clear once again.Your body is mine to hold, to touch and even to f**k,if you would like to go further with this sentence.Behave otherwise I would have to punish you!"

I felt nauseous after reading that text from him.How on earth did he even get my number to start with?s**t the file I almost forgot about the file!I wanted to reply him back but I was in no position to do so.

PING!

"By the way that red dress suits you sweetheart, imagine what I can do with you in that dress...."

Alright I had enough I need to get to a bathroom and very fast.The lights were so bright that I could not even see the bathroom door.Fuck this s**t I'm going out for fresh air!As soon as I got outside and felt the clean air in my lungs I decided to reply to the message.

"Don't you have anything better to do, like with your mistress, rather than to talk to me?"I felt relieved saying that but the reply was very fast.

"Oh I do my dear.I can just imagine how I can get under that dress, pulling your panties off with my bare teeth as I nibble and suck your sweet spot!"

What the f**k is going on with him!I felt even more nauseous at this point than before.After I let all the alcohol out I heard a man laughing at me.When I turned around the man had a black shirt on with jeans.He looked very old, a familiar uneasy feeling crept over my body, this man in front of me showed up with nothing but a few very bad intentions.

"So you are the one the Alpha seeked not long ago.I should say that I am rather impressed if I knew that you would be this sexy, I would have too raised my game."

"Look I'm not interested so get lost!"

"Oh no,that is fine.... but I know someone who would be interested."

What is wrong with this old guy.I tried to walk passed him but then he grabbed my hand and before I could even react to the situation I was lying on the floor.Everything went black.

When I woke up I was tied to a chair like an animal in the zoo, captive.What the f**k is going on?Where am I?I tried to scream but no one seemed to hear anything at all.The room that I was in was dark with a very bad smell.I know that smell from anywhere, that is blood.I tried to get loose but nothing worked, it was like I lost some of my strength.This must be one of Aden's sick games that he plays with people to get them scared.Well it was working,it scared the living s**t out of me not knowing where I am.

*Aden's point of view

Waking up in my own bed is beginning to become a new habit of mine.I checked my phone, still no reply from Niqolette since last night.She must be sleeping her hangover off.As I got dressed, Amelia flew in by the door, wearing only a shirt.She looked pissed at me.

"What the hell is your problem Aden?"

"Morning to you too Amelia or should I say my dear?"

"Aden you hardly touched me last night,is there a problem or something with you?"

"I was not in the mood Amelia that was all.Now would you get dressed we need to have breakfast in less than ten minutes!"

"No,you heard me Aden!You are actually falling for that w***e?"with less than a thought I walked up to her then shoved her up against the wall.Her eyes showed only sacredness that is when I realized what I have done.

"The rules of behavement does not just count for Niqolette it also counts for you!Since this is the way you would like to start your morning,how about you just have breakfast in your room.I will have that arranged, now if you would excuse me... I have things to do!"

I left in a hurry downstairs, only to find that Niqolette is not there.There is something wrong,her shift starts at seven on the dot...around this time she would already be at the table.I walked up to Angela asking her about Niqolette's whereabouts.Angela could only say that Niqolette had left before her and that they have not spoken since.

Behave was all I asked her to do, not to f*****g screw things up!When I got to her room it was empty.She definitely did not sleep here.I was about to pop in by the clinic when I was called by Jason.

Jason is a human who sometimes helps with cases of ours.He asked if me if we can speak for just a few minutes.His tone was hard and full of worry.My gut is never wrong nor off.When I got to the office he was already waiting for me in the hallway.As soon as we got inside he asked me for a whiskey.When Jason asks for a whiskey then you know something shitty is going down.He gave me a look, filled with worry and uncertainty, he took the glass only to give me a file in return.

"What is this?"

"We found it this morning south by the river." he explained

My body went cold and my heart felt like it could stop at that very moment.It was my mate's car.

"Do you know what happened?" I had asked

"I have an idea but I don't think that you are going to like it!"

"Jason my patience is low especially when it comes to her!"

"It looks like she has been kidnapped and before you ask,a friend of hers saw someone chasing her after she had left the club.That is when she phoned in but by the time the cops got there it was already too late... we found her car this morning."

"Blood?"

"No sign of struggle or if she had been killed,my guess is that they must have taken her after she got into the accident."

"Any leads so far?"

"No but we are trying our best here Aden, you just need to give us a little more time!"

"I don't have time Jason,come on let's go and get some answers!" I demanded

"How are you going to get answers Aden?"he asked me with a loud voice.

I stopped right there in the door with fists ready for action.My anger was already at the top of the surface screaming to come out.With a deep and angry voice I answered him back :"By f*****g killing people!"
