Nathan didn't flinch.
The surgeon looked over his glasses. “It's minor. But there's risk. Especially after recent trauma."
“How much risk?"
“Bleeding. Infection. Anesthesia complications. We won't know until we're in."
Nathan nodded once. “Schedule it."
The doctor hesitated. “I should advise you to notify next of kin—"
“I already have someone in mind."
