It was pretty clear that Christopher was losing his god damn mind. Did he really think that my mate would go to him willingly? It was almost too stupid to even fathom that being a possibility. Just like he had promised Christopher tried contacting Imogen again and when she didn't agree to go with him he just made the usual threats.
