Delilah’s POV I could hear the echo of my heart thudding against my ribcage. The wheeze in my breath was getting louder and louder. Fear threatened to take permanent residence deep in my gut. This is bad, this is very bad. I could hear the sound of massive paws crashing onto the forest ground, I tried to focus my hearing as the world slowed around me. The sounds of the wolf got slower but louder with each step leaving nothing but an ominous feeling hanging over me.
