“DELILAH! DELILAH WHERE ARE YOU!?” As her name ripped from my mouth, I was torn from the nightmare.
Flashes of screaming, fire and chaos were running through a loop in my head, but I couldn’t understand any of it. All I know is it felt real, I was drenched in sweat as if I was right next to that fire and the panic coursing through my body sure felt real as hell.
The walls of my office started to come into view as I rubbed my eyes and pushed the sleepy feeling away. I haven't slept much since Delilah started getting the pain caused by Lucian.
