Stone returned my call, then Dad rang, and Megan. I had to explain the DNA test three times and tell my grandparents about Sienna’s arrest. Meanwhile, Jane went to the police station to hand over the test results. She texted me two hours later saying she was done and goodnight.
Unanswered questions kept me awake. Where did Belinda go? Did she go to the station, too? Did Jane see her? What will Belinda do now that her secret was exposed? Return to Nashville? Flee elsewhere? Did her husband know? I wanted to assume he did because it wouldn’t be easy hiding an identity from law enforcement. Sheriff Anderson might have helped
