Alyssa's POV The first thing I felt when I woke up was the unbearable pain coursing through my body. Every muscle, every bone, screamed as though it were being slowly torn apart. My eyes fluttered open, and the dim light of a room so foreign to me greeted me. I tried to move, but I couldn't. Because my right hand was chained to the bed, and for a moment, panic surged through me. My heart raced as I pulled against the handcuff. But it didn't budge. I glanced around and saw that the room was tiny, with just one window far above me, barely letting in any light. A small table sat in the corner, with a few scattered items that I couldn't quite make out.
