Chapter 3 - The Oracle's Prophesy

300 Words
Lyra led Elian through Echoia's winding streets, avoiding Kael's symbols, which seemed to pulse with dark energy. Arden followed closely, his eyes scanning rooftops. As they walked, Elian asked, "What's the Oracle's role in Echoia?" Lyra replied, "The Oracle possesses ancient knowledge, guiding us through tumultuous times. She'll reveal your connection to Echoia and our struggle." They arrived at an intricately carved temple, hidden behind a waterfall. Inside, the air was thick with incense, and soft chanting filled the air. The Oracle, an ethereal woman with eyes like stars, greeted them. "Welcome, Elian. Your presence stirs the balance." Elian felt a shiver run down his spine. "What do you mean?" The Oracle's gaze pierced him. "You are the Key of Resonance, a bridge between worlds. Your reflection, Lyra, has awakened you to this truth." Elian's mind reeled. "What truth?" The Oracle's voice took on a mystical tone. "In the realm of Echoia, every action resonates across parallel worlds. Your choices will determine the harmony or discord of the multiverse." Arden stepped forward. "The Oracle, what of Kael's intentions?" The Oracle's expression turned grave. "Kael seeks to shatter the Seal of Separation, unleashing Chaos upon the multiverse. Elian's presence is the only obstacle to his plan." Lyra grasped Elian's hand. "We need your help to stop Kael." Elian felt the weight of responsibility settling upon him. "I'll do whatever it takes." The Oracle nodded. "Your journey begins now." Seek the ancient texts in the Library of Echoes. They hold the secrets of the Seal and Kael's true intentions." As they departed the temple, Elian turned to Lyra. "What's the Library of Echoes?" Lyra smiled mischievously, "A labyrinth of forgotten knowledge, hidden within Echoia's mirrored halls. We'll need to navigate its reflections to uncover the truth." Elian steeled himself. "Let's do this."
