Chapter Twenty
Uncle Phelan, Aunt Meg, Lizzy, the Squirrels, Samuel and Beautimus all gathered at Beautimus’ abode for brunch, while waiting the delivery a special edition of Wayflower Quacker. They were in the midst of a fine meal of bananas, strawberries and lavender tea when Larry showed up with the paper. Applecheeks scurried to the flap and opened it to permit the stork entrance.
The stork bowed and pushed the paper forward with his beak. “Ms. Bea, I think you’ll enjoy this edition.”
“Thank you, Larry.”
After the paper carrier flew away, the squirrels spread out the paper so everyone could read the article.
