Chapter Twenty-Two As Beautimus walked the path home, she came across a stunning field of red poppies shimmering under the pale light of the setting suns. She took in their beauty, reveled in it. A mutation of wood thrush in a bowyakka tree sang wordless Earth melodies in perfect harmony. They sang Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto Number 4, the little Fugue in G minor. A slight breeze rustled the leaves of the yarran trees and carried to her the scent of lilacs, honeysuckle and hyacinth.
