Chapter Eleven The morning following the Wasenia Festival, as customary Beautimus read three Glyphs to set the tone for her day. Applecheeks withdrew the stones for Beautimus, one at a time. The first one, Stone Wheel, she placed symbol-side up on the divining cloth. The second, Open Eye, she placed adjacent to Stone Wheel, and the last Glyph—once again White Light. “Look at these, Apple. The first Glyph indicates movement, the second has to do with intuition, and there it is, the ultimate Glyph, the power stone, the explosion. Every time White Light comes up in the outcome position, a significant event is right around the corner.
